The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimers® is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research. Since 1989, Memory Walk has raised more than $300 million for the cause. 

The Walk To End Alzheimers is a community event that joins friends, family and co-workers as they walk to end Alzheimer’s. Participants typically register in teams of 10 or more and fundraise using tools supported by the Alzheimer’s Association. 

The fifth annual Silicon Valley Walk To End Alzheimers will be held at the Arena Green in Downtown San Jose (across from the Shark Tank/HP Pavilion). The walk route is flat and walkers can choose a 3 mile or 1 mile route. The route is wheelchair and stroller accessible. Well mannered and leashed dogs are permitted, but not encouraged due to the crowds. 

The event will feature multi-cultural performances from community groups in celebration of World Alzheimer's Day, which is celebrated internationally on September 21 each year. 

Memory Walk is a great opportunity to meet other families touched by Alzheimer's disease, visit with our sponsors, and enjoy live music and dancing. All funds raised support the mission of the Alzheimer's Association. Bring a photo of your loved one to share in the Rememberance Area.
